This drawing clearly shows some of my favourite songs for the artist Evanescence. The first part of the book "If I smile and don't believe.. soon I know I'll wake from this dream.." is taken from the song Hello. "Hello..I'm still here, all that's left of yesterday" the song is kind of sad because the singer is grieving for the death of her younger sister. The next lines "these wounds won't seem to heal.. this pain is just too real.." are from the song "My Immortal" , a song that is immortal to me and special. It talks about childish fears and suppression of thoughts and emotions. After that, the lines "I can't run anymore.. I fall down before you..here I am" are taken from the song "October". It seems to be that the song talks about her relationship with God , "I fall into your abounding grace.. my only peace". I love this song so much, it is kind and spiritually connected. I recommend these songs and also other songs from Evanescence, my most favourite band.
