The Story of the Lost Kingdom

“I don’t find it easy to do anything at all, even breathing! When is this hardship going to end?

Oh my goodness, I have slept for too long! How many hours have passed?” Thought Bonnie aloud inside her mind. Bonnie has been in a coma for seven years and found it a hardship to be awake suddenly and all at once. She is right. For being asleep for this long does cause post-traumatic stress. The girl simply finds it best if she breaks things down to smaller pieces so that

tremendous size of a trouble may diminish faster. But will she be able to do that perfectly and on time? That’s what we’re going to find out.

I don’t know why but this hell of a nightmare is fading away forever, which I totally feel grateful for. Thank You God for killing the pain and making it easier for me to cope with this calamity. My mind is gone, and my heart is dead! I still feel the numbness chopping me to pieces and not letting go of my tired soul. However, I feel this burning will to set things back on track.” Thought Bonnie with a quiver of hope. “I can also feel this soft, tender emotion telling me to shed some tears of relief” She then began to cry silently yet loudly on the inside. Bonnie thinks that letting tears out is one of the best medicines in the universe. She feels that crying intelligently can reduce her stress levels as well as nourishing her soul. Not forgetting how good it feels when she feels connected to her deepest feelings.

“Hi Tina, how are you doing today?” asked Bonnie, a little bit tired yet very sober.

“Not bad, just hanging there. I think your recovery from this coma is epic! I have tons of things to tell you about. You won’t believe what I have got to say!” said Tina, feeling all enthusiastic and energetic.

“Oh, that sounds interesting. I just hope that what you’re going to tell me is good news!” Said Bonnie. A wave of confusion and sorrow was going through her heart.

“Well, I think it’s both good and bad news! Let’s start with the good news for sure. I have discovered a way to defeat the evil spell, but I need your help in doing this. I know that you are still recovering from the coma, but you are indeed the strongest person I’ve known.” Said Tina, feeling a bit discouraged for an unknown reason.

“I don’t know what to say! This is great news.”

Yes, an evil spell has been cast on Tina for a very long time. The provocative scenario of evil spells is soon to be doomed forever. Well, the nature of this spell is weaved with the most evil magic. Thirty years ago, four evil sorcerers came to Earth in their invisible forms. They collected all their incantation ingredients and whispered their wicked words. The spell was to abduct the soul of Tina and trap her somewhere she couldn’t get out of. Thirty years ago, Tina had taken off to fly as a ghost. She flew all the way to Rim. Rim is a galaxy where all ghosts can fly to and discover new things. They can also learn new skills and uncover secrets that belong to existence. Tina had once announced her plan to visit Rim. She had even announced the time of visiting Rim. So, when the time came, Tina took her way to Rim as a ghost. She began flying effortlessly and anticipatedly, until something horrible happened. Tina got stuck in a portal! One that was hidden from her. She collapsed and could not get out of it. A few hours later, she found herself in a very dark castle, where death could be smelt in every corner. Then, she looked around and searched for an exit, only to find numerous monsters and devils dwelling in this castle! As soon as they laid sight on her, they immediately recognized her, even in her ghostly form. Tina totally freaked out and cursed them all. She then fought back their attacks and ran away from that castle. After that, Tina built a small cottage where she could find shelter and figure a way out of that bloody planet. That planet belonged to scary monsters and deadly creatures. That was the spell that was cast on Tina twenty-five years ago. Tina spent her time in that cottage alone. She developed some ways to live on her own until she could find a way out. Out of that disastrous planet. The girl kept training herself to do some magic. She wouldn’t give up no matter how hard things got. The day was dim, and the night was nightmarish. Until one day Tina figured a way through that. She was able to create a portal with her magical powers. The monsters there were oblivious to her magical abilities and did not know anything about the portal she had created. For Tina had a secret place where she could practice her magic and create things with it. Her magic was too good-natured and as pure as possible. Her secret hiding place was somewhere underground. The split-second Tina touched her nicely made portal; she felt its power. It could transfer her somewhere else, somewhere much better than this desolate monstrous planet. Tina then got inside the portal, feeling all hopeful yet anxious. The waves that were radiating from the portal were soothing. She could feel it all. The power of good magic. A few hours later, Tina found herself in a strange room. It was made of glass, every inch of it. There was a bed, a desk, a closet and a chair. She then thought it would be better to stay in the same spot for a few hours. She was trying to summon some magic. A few minutes passed until a big noise came by, and the door opened. They were cats and squirrels playing and talking together. Tina could feel a good energy coming from them and then relaxed. They were talking so loudly that Tina struggled to hear own thoughts and feelings. Tina was wondering about where she was, but deep down she trusted her intuition. An hour later, Tina moved a few steps towards the door. But before she could reach the door, someone had entered the room. A ghost came and introduced herself, she said her name was Bonnie. Tina then recognized her all at once, she was from the same galaxy where Tina was living. Bonnie then said that the only way out was to cross the river of Dhiod. This river was in that area. Bonnie and Tina made their way to see the front edge of the river. Dhiod was made of glass. What Bonnie knew of Dhiod was only that it could take them to planet Earth. Tina smiled at the idea and hoped that they would cross the river successfully and safely. What lay beneath Dhiod was dreary and horrifying! It was the most dangerous lava ever. The lava would hurt like hell. But in the worst-case scenario, they would die and find themselves back home if they couldn’t cross it successfully. So, it would be a win-win situation in the end. Bonnie and Tina held on to their inner strength as well as faith and innocence to cross the river. It took them like six hours to pass it. And they dodged many spiky objects that were coming from random directions. The final stage was feeling the incredible heat coming from the lava beneath them. Two seconds later, a huge portal appeared out of nowhere. It was yellowish and very bright. The portal said: allow me to guide you and direct you to your destination. Tina and Bonnie wondered and felt the reassuring radiance coming from the portal. They then let themselves in with a tiny shiver of doubt. The next day, Tina found herself in baby form. Yes, it was Earth. And that’s how you find yourself on Earth, in baby form. Tina could not feel herself until she reached the age of twenty. Her life felt passive and mysterious. She could not even remember Bonnie the whole time! Although part of her would whisper the name inside. When Tina went to college, she started feeling better. She was feeling like a stranger to herself. And everything felt like a boring dream. After she got into college, she suddenly remembered all that had happened before she was on Earth. The Rim galaxy, getting trapped in a terrifying castle on a monstrous planet for ten years, her friend Bonnie, the Dhiod river and how the two of them found the final portal. She then felt something like a tragedy. Something that couldn’t be explained by words, only by tears. One day, Tina was trying to study in the library, and she found a good study group. After studying the chapters for the quiz, Tina took some time to write her diary. She wrote about how robotic she was feeling and how much she missed something, something that she struggled to describe. It was nostalgia for the adventure she had before. It was also the need to search for the truth. Tina then sat down for another ten minutes. In the same room where Tina was, a student from another class was trying to write down something. She looked so absorbed in her writing but then she dropped her notebook. That student then looked at Tina, who was still writing in her dairy book. The student said: Hey! I think I saw you in the chemistry class, my name is Bonnie. Tina then smiled back at her and said: Hi, how are you? My name is Tina. Bonnie then told Tina that she kind of knew her before. There was an aura of mystery. It was like the spirit of Tina and Bonnie had memories. Tina felt like she could see the future and then said: “I once had a very close friend who died”. Bonnie then said:” Oh, sorry to hear that. I also happen to have a close friend who died!”

Tina then said, I feel like I almost know this place, but I didn’t really come here by myself. Bonnie then found herself feeling the same way and said: “me too!”

Bonnie then felt a strong sting of pain in her left hand. She said that pain was of an unknown cause. Five minutes later, something appeared on the wall of that room. Something like a portal, it had a voice and was saying: Only the ones who know the secrets of the lost kingdom can hear me, step forth if you do. Bonnie then looked at Tina and asked: Do you hear this like I do? A voice coming from a portal?

Tina then answered: “Oh my God, it is you then! The close friend who died...”

Bonnie immediately remembered Tina and how they got here. She told her she was happy to see her again. To find someone to talk to about the mysteries and scary moments she had before getting here. Tina and Bonnie felt relieved after that, however, the evil spell was still not broken. Tina would find herself in another dimension, it was that monstrous planet again. After the age of twenty-one, Tina would find herself on that terrifying monstrous planet each night! And then would find herself back in her human house at daytime. As for Bonnie, she fell into a long coma. Seven years later, Bonnie awakened from her long coma, and she was feeling more relieved. The first day Bonnie woke up, she called Tina to tell her that.

Tina told Bonnie the good news, that she had found a way to defeat the evil spell forever. And now she is going to reveal that way. She said:” The portal that I had created in Krooshimina (Krooshimina is that monstrous planet). That portal can be made again but it needs so much power and magic. However, I have figured out a way to magnify the power of that portal. I just have to fight back the monsters' attacks with my human form. I am saying this because I have never appeared with my human form there, although I can activate it so easily now.”

“You are saying you have to fight the monsters with your human form? Oh, but how are you going to do that?” asked Bonnie, perplexed.

“Yeah, as I am telling you. My human form will be stronger than my ghostly form. But the minute my human form is activated there on Krooshimina, a miraculous power will be delivered to me. And yes, I have got an idea” said Tina, a feeling of agitation was hiding beneath her skin.

“Great, what is it?” asked Bonnie, feeling a shiver of worry.

“To invite you to Krooshimina! Where you can fight back those monsters with me. Of course, if you are feeling ready for that. I have channeled enough magic to invite a friend to that awful place. I believe that your unity with me on that planet can increase our total power and finally defeat the last monster there” said Tina, letting her brave words get out in a perceived yet random way.

“Oh, I am glad you have brought this up! I am totally in. How could I stand a chance when the truth is laid out in front of me like the brightest star.” said Bonnie, flashing a smile.

“Okay, this is an awesome reaction. But I still need a little more time to train my human form. I mean training her with magic. Nothing to do with growing big muscles...” said Tina.

“So, when do we start our training? I feel all excited. I want you to know that I would rather die than watch my best friend suffer like this. I just have to pull myself together and water the flowers of innocence and faith till they grow stronger than any damn monster.” said Bonnie.

“Such lovely words. Thank you... We will begin tomorrow if you don’t mind”

“Tomorrow? Yeah, sounds good. I don’t know why, but I have a great feeling about this. I know how it feels like to get stuck in a bloody planet like that each night...” said Bonnie, her eyes taking on a sad edge.

“Don’t worry about me, I will keep fighting till the end. And yes, I have almost forgotten. The bad news I was going to tell you...” said Tina.

“What is the bad news?” asked Bonnie, taking a deep breath.

“My sister, Sally. She read my diary book somehow and confronted me with it. Sally then looked at me with scary eyes, you won’t believe it! She then said: I am one of them. Don’t you Angels know anything about our powers! Krooshimina is my homeland, and you will lose.” said Tina, finding it hard to swallow and feel at ease again.

“Oh my God, the villain! She told you that she is one of them, one of the monsters of Krooshimina!” asked Bonnie, anger filling her tone.

“As I am telling you. She gave me the creeps! I never expected this to happen. I totally know what to do, I will just keep searching for this lost quest.”

“Lost quest? Can you please elaborate on that?” asked Bonnie.

“I had a dream one week ago. There was a terrible nightmare shredding my soul to pieces! Around fifty vampires were eating my heart alive... Anyway, I heard a delicate soft voice coming from a beautiful giant tree. The voice said: Don’t worry, I am with you in every step and in every moment. Call out my name and I will free you from the detaining troubles and the tiring dismay. I am the Holy Spirit. And I have chosen you to be the one who can save the lost kingdom, the kingdom of heaven.” said Tina, letting the words out with wisdom and beauty.

“I have two opposite feelings after hearing this dream you had. The first feeling is that of horror and pain, while the other one is the reassuring name of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit tells the ultimate truth, and surely brings the lost light in this universe.” Said Bonnie with a quiver of faith running through her.

As Tina fell asleep, she found herself as usual in Krooshimina. She was in her own cottage there. The moment she breathed in that cottage, she could hear continuous knocks on the door. She tried to ignore that but something inside her kind of urged her to open the door. It was her intuition telling her to. Tina opened the door to see a big, wounded bird who was speaking in a language she could not understand nor define! The bird looked cute and had the softest feathers. The bird was half her height and was colored light blue with thick purple and pink dots covering his upper and middle parts. The eyes of the bird were so wide and innocent.

“Oh my God, you look like the cutest bird I have ever seen!” said Tina. “But why are you wounded? And how did you get here, I have never seen you around...”

“Don’t worry about my wound, I am feeling okay now. I have this power that can only be seen by the chosen ones. I have tried coming to you many times. In fact, I was held as a prisoner in that evil castle for ten years! And was asleep the whole time. Until I found a way out of that castle. I created a masquerading dress that totally hid my identity. I turned that random material around me into fabric. It had taken me quite a long time. It had taken me an entire year to make that magic come true. And this bird form that you see is not actually my true form. This has been the way I look since I got trapped on this damn planet. I have managed to find you after all this time. Well, you will be surprised to know who I really am. I am someone you used to know, before you flew all the way to Rim thirty years ago...”

“Oh my God! I feel like there is so much I want to say to you, Mr. Bird. What is your name? That will help me identify you...” said Tina, feeling so distant from herself.

“Yes, my darling. My name is Robin. Now, let’s move to the subject that I have come to tell you. I have missed you so much, Tina. We have been together since the beginning of all times. I am Robin, your soulmate. I could not bear watching you disappear like this...”

“Robin! It is really you... I can’t believe it. You have no idea how happy and relieved that makes me feel, to see you again after all this time!” said Tina as she blinked slowly and smiled softly.

“I feel the same way, I love you so much...” said Robin.

“I love you too forever... So, what is the way out of this damn planet?” said Tina.

“This is the mystery that I have been drowning in. However, the answers will come in just a few minutes!” said Robin with a hint of depression.

“So, tell me sweetheart. How did you know about what happened and how did you reach this planet?” asked Tina, feeling a lot of mixed emotions.

“Well, after your disappearance, nobody could tell a thing about where you could be. But you won’t believe who managed to tell us everything...” said Robin.

“Oh, I am getting very curious. I haven’t met anyone here who could deliver the news to you!”

“It was a broken star. This star was very small! Although she had started speaking in a language that I could not understand nor identify” answered Robin.

“A broken star! What is this supposed to mean?” asked Tina, looking confused.

“Okay, that was the form of that lady. She appeared in the form of a broken star. But after ten minutes, she revealed her true identity. She was a fairy, a very powerful one.” said Robin.

“That is so strange! Because I haven’t caught sight of any fairy at all. I am certainly very grateful that somehow happened! Can you please tell me what language did she speak to you? Because when you started talking after I had opened the door, your language was unknown to me... Is this part of her mighty magic?” said Bonnie.

“I don’t know why, but I feel connected to something that I can’t quite describe, something very mysterious and powerful. The way that fairy knew about your place was part of her mighty magic. She came to me while I was crying loudly in our garden. I was feeling so absorbed in my tears that I could barely feel the existence of my body. I cried so much until my eyes could see a sparkly ray of colorful lights. I tried so hard to count how many colors were there. Because they were showing unsteadily. There were nine colors, each one of them was sparkling. Red, blue, green, purple, yellow, orange, pink, violet and brown. After counting the colors, I simply sang the saddest song ever! (The missing story) this was a song that I wrote after your disappearance.
