This drawing is really close to my heart, I drew it when I was in a very upset condition. However, after I was done drawing it, I got a strange feeling! One that only intuitive empathetic person can relate to, or understand. To whom exactly is this directed? Anyone, anyone who feels like she/he is not really home within, not home on the inside. The girl in this boat is sleeping, yet, the power of God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit keeps her safe and sound. Why donuts plant? Because that is part of her world. sweet and natural. something that pertains to her inner feelings. feelings about her self and her soul. Why in a boat? Because it's the simplest means of travel, since she is still very young and not so experienced but very aware of her innermost treasures, faith and innocence. Will she reach Home even while she's asleep? Yes, of course. Because sleeping is another form of consciousness, her soul stays vigilant and on point until the very end of her journey, the journey back home.
